Rock You Like A Very Strong Wind
The Scorpions have announced that they will release one last album, as well as live Blu-ray from their current farewell tour, on January 24, 2012.
Dubbed “Comeblack,” the album features a combination of new versions of Scorpions classics — including “No One Like You,” “Rock You Like A Hurricane,” and “Rhythm Of Love” — as well as covers of songs by The Beatles (“Across The Universe”), The Rolling Stones (“Ruby Tuesday”), and The Kinks (“All Day And All Of The Night”).
As for the Blu-ray, “Get Your Sting And Blackout: Live In 3D” was recorded on April 15, 2011 in Saarbrucken, Germany by director Gerd F. Schultze, who previously made 3D movies with Michael Jackson, Carlos Santana, and Joe Cocker.
The band’s going away tour resumes January 28 in (no joke) Tours, France and is currently slated to conclude October 13 in Munich, Germany.
