Anchor Bay have announced that the second season of The Walking Dead will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 28.

Besides all thirteen episodes, The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season will including commentaries, making-of featurettes, and behind-the-scenes footage.

In addition, there will also be a limited edition version of the Blu-ray housed in a zombie head that was designed by McFarlane Toys.

The DVD version will retail for $59.98, the Blu-ray will be $69.99, while the limited edition Blu-ray will be $99.99.

Oh, and mark your calendars: The third season of the show begins in October.
