Walt Disney Home Video has announced that three animes from Studio Ghibli — “Castle In The Sky,” “Whisper Of The Heart,” and “The Secret World Of Arrietty” — will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 22nd.

The most recent of the three “The Secret World Of Arrietty” — an adaptation of Mary Norton’s children’s book series “The Borrowers” — will be available as a single-disc DVD or two-disc DVD/Blu-ray combo. While both have the music video for the song “Summertime” and a making-of featurette on the video, the combo pack will also include the original trailers and TV commercials, storyboards, and a music video for “Arrietty’s Song.” The DVD will retail for $29.99 while the DVD/Blu-ray will be $39.99.

Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, “Castle In The Sky” — which is available as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack — will include an intro by Pixar’s John Lasseter, the original storyboards, six making-of featurettes, and the original trailer. It will retail for $39.99.

As for “Whisper Of The Heart,” the two-disc DVD/Blu-ray combo pack will be include the original trailers and TV commercials, storyboards, a featurette on the voice talent, and a look at how four of the scenes evolved as the film’s production progressed. It will retail for $39.99.
