Action Jackson

Warner Brothers Home Video have announced that “Shaft” and other action films would be released on Blu-ray on August 14.

Besides the 1971 blaxploitation classic, the other titles getting upgraded included “Fallen” with Denzel Washington, “Romeo Must Die” with Jet Li and Aaliyah, “Cradle To The Grave 2” with Li and DMX, “A Man Apart” with Vin Diesel, and “New Jack City” with Wesley Snipes, Ice-T, Judd Nelson, Chris Rock, and Mario Van Peebles.

No extras were detailed for any of the releases, though it did say that the discs would retail for $19.98 each.
