The Wind In The Willows

Fox Home Video and Lucasfilm have announced that Willow — the 1988 fantasy epic directed by Ron Howard and based on a story by George Lucas — will be released in DVD/Blu-ray combo collection on March 12.

Besides the movie, the collection will also include deleted scenes with notations by Howard, a video diary from star Warwick Davis, an original making-of featurette called “The Making Of An Adventure” with a new intro by Howard, a featurette on the special effects called “From Morf To Morphing: The Dawn Of Digital Filmmaking” with a new intro from FX master Dennis Muren, and a gallery of the original matte paintings.

The collection will retail for $24.99.
