ALVY!
Twentieth Century Fox Home Video have announced that two of Woody Allen’s classic films, “Annie Hall” and “Manhattan,” will be released on Blu-ray on January 24.
While this does not mark Allen’s first high-def releases — his recent films “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “Midnight In Paris,” and “Whatever Works” are all out on Blu-ray — these two are the first of the director’s archival releases to get this treatment.
No extras were revealed, though seeing as Allen doesn’t do commentaries, and previous editions were sparse and only included the original trailers, we’re not expecting much.
Both films will be available for $24.99.
