30 days of Free Game Time for Level 50 Star Wars: The Old Republic Players
Posted on April 13, 2012 AT 07:41am
THE BUZZ: BioWare is rewarding all Star Wars: The Old Republic players who have an active level 50 character on their account with 30 days free game time.
This is to reward loyal players who have stuck with the game on the run up to patch 1.2, which went live yesterday.
BioWare is also offering people who have let their subscriptions lapse seven days of free game time so they can return and test out the new patch.
Finally anyone with an active account and a reoccurring subscription will receive a free Legacy Tauntaun Ram Pet as a thankyou by April 24.
EGM’s TAKE: It’s great that EA is rewarding loyal customers, especially considering that they’ve stuck by an unfinished game. The developers themselves have already stated that 1.2 is where they wanted the game to be at launch. Having played the game since launch, we feel that 1.2 is a nice update, but isn’t exactly game changing. The UI customization is a big improvement and the new Warzone is pretty fun, but from what we’ve seen so far, the Legacy system is a little lacking.
