‎’Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon’ Rating Hints at Spin-off

A new game titled Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has appeared on ratings board listings and also has some leaked box art, but what is it?

Far Cry 3 lead writer Jeffrey Yohalem started off speculation of a new title when he told Joystiq, ”Yes, I’m working on something now that will be surprising, I think, when it’s announced. But it definitely is a ‘strike while the iron’s hot’ thing, and we’ll see.”

A game titled Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has been spotted on the Brazilian Ratings Board for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It has been given an 18+ rating for including drugs, sex, and extreme violence.

Finally some box art for the game appeared on NeoGAF last month which suggests that the title will be a downloadable game for Xbox Live Arcade–and presumable PSN and PC.

Ubisoft is yet to announce anything official regarding the title. So the question still remains, what the hell is it?
