THE BUZZ: Nintendo has announced that the promised late November 3D video update for the 3DS has been delayed until December.

Nintendo stated, “more time is needed for preparations,” and that the update will now release December 8. The firmware will allow users to capture 3D video using their 3DS and introduce the ability to purchase DLC for games.

EGM’s TAKE: The idea of capturing 3D video is a really cool idea but will probably end up as just a novelty, similar to the system’s 3D pictures.
