#1 Ranked Xbox 360 Black Ops 2 Player Resets Stats to Avoid Abuse

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2′s top-ranked Xbox 360 player “Retrominano” has been forced to reset his stats after suffering abuse from other players and constant DDOS attacks.
“Retrominano” suffered DDOS attacks from somewhere in the U.S. which prevented him from playing on Xbox Live for more than 10 minutes without being disconnected, he also suffered abuse from players who joined his lobbies. He posted the following Xbox Live message from his PC explaining the issue.

He then went on Reddit to explain his problem in more detail, revealing that he had been forced to reset his stats just to stop the constant attacks. He finally posted the photo below to prove the stat reset.
There’s absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior over a video game. Just because this guy is the top ranked on Xbox 360 doesn’t give any one the right to abuse and ruin his gaming experience. If he cheated to get there then sure he would deserve it, but by all accounts he was a legitimate world number one. Hopefully something can be done to prevent this kind of childish behavior in the future–not just for top ranked players, but for everyone.

Should more be done to try to prevent this kind of abuse? Or does it come with being the top ranked in the world? Share your thoughts below.
