THE BUZZ: From tomorrow until January 2nd, Microsoft will be running an “11 Days of Christmas” promotion on the Xbox Marketplace. Each day, a new secret deal will be revealed, and that deal will be good for that one day only.

For the first day of deals, two Sega games will be offered for lower prices: Renegade Ops (800 MS points, regularly 1200), and After Burner Climax (400 MS points, regularly 800).

As well, as of now you can also get a free Xbox holiday premium theme to get your Xbox 360 dashboard into a more festive mood. You can find the free theme at the link below.

EGM’s TAKE: Microsoft has done similar promotions for at least the last few years now, so good to see it return. However, it can be a bit of a pain having to check every day to see what the new surprise deal is—I’ve had more than a few times where I forgot to check on one particular day, and ended up missing some game I really wanted.
