THE BUZZ: If you’re curious to see how Leixia will play in the upcoming Soul Calibur V, here’s sixteen minutes of gameplay video of her from Paris Games Week. The video is off-screen footage taken by KayaneSF on YouTube, but it’s still a great chance to see more of the character in action.

EGM’s TAKE: As a big fan of playing Xianghua, I’m really disappointed that they took her out and just tossed in her daughter Leixia. It seems silly to just bring in these new characters that play so similar to older ones, and I would have loved to have seen an older, more mature Leixia.
