2D Cyberpunk Indie Game Stealer Canceled Due to Lost Interest

Posted on April 24, 2013 AT 12:01pm

Developer Winged Doom have canceled their 2D cyberpunk indie game, Stealer, according to posts on the TIGsource forums.

“I lost the interest in development of this game, sorry,” one of the developers posted (under an alias). “Tried several times to start again and then fail.”

Mock-ups and designs from Stealer were also posted on TIGsource. Winged Doom’s blog, meanwhile, has been taken offline.

The developer is working on a different project, however—one inspired by the Legend of Zelda series, titled Journey to Hammerdale, which features a similarly retro aesthetic as the now done for Stealer.

A trailer for Stealer was released in December (embedded below).
