2K Sports is set to announce a deal with WWE following the collapse of THQ, according to new reports.

Sources have indicated that the franchise will be sold to Take-Two, 2K’s parent company. Terms of the sale are still unclear, but an official announcement is expected soon.

It appears that this deal took place outside of THQ’s recent asset auction.
