The 38 Studios auction will be held December 11 and will feature a “completed, but unreleased game” for Mac just discovered by the firm hosting the auction.

In press release issued by Nick Jimenez, executive vice president of asset advisory and auction services firm Heritage Global Partners, the aforementioned “completed, but unreleased game” for Mac is titled Rise of Nations: Tactics, and was discovered by sifting through 38 Studios’ servers.

In addition to Tactics, auction items include Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends, the assets for Project Copernicus, the sequel and merchandising rights to Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and the in-house technology developed at 38 Studios and Big Huge Games.

The auction was originally slated for  November 14 through November 15, but was delayed at the request of attorney Richard J. Land due to “a very strong response from interested potential buyers—including leading domestic and international game development interests.”
