43 New Apps Coming to Xbox Now through Spring 2013

In case Xbox Live hasn’t completely replaced your need for cable television, Microsoft announced today 43 new apps coming to the system, several which are launching starting today. The remainder will be released between now and spring 2013.

Here’s the complete rundown:

  • CBC’s Hockey Night (Canada)
  • CrunchyRoll (Majority of LIVE Regions)
  • Deezer (Majority of LIVE Regions)
  • Eredivisie Live (Netherlands)
  • Fightbox (Austria, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, United Kingdom)
  • Flixster (United States)
  • GameTrailers (Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States)
  • Globosat Muu (Brazil)
  • Gulli Replay (France)

So, yeah—this news makes me really glad I don’t splurge for cable.
