A fifth installment of the No Heroes Allowed match-three puzzle game series is coming to PlayStation Vita this spring, titled No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!
According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, players assume the role of “God of Destruction,” a deity whose responsibility is to defeat over 200 heroes across 64 levels. Each conquered hero is subsequently enslaved and sent to work in mines to produce power-ups for future battles. Or, if you’re feeling particularly cruel I suppose, you can combine defeated heroes with monsters and items to form a Frankenstein creature that somehow makes your army more powerful. I’m not sure how, though—the PlayStation Blog post is pretty sparce, but it does promise “more details soon.”
One thing I do know is that soon Sony’s handheld will be home to all the quirky match-three games in the world, what with the launch of Futurlab’s electric-themed match-three game Surge Deluxe last week. Surely this is what lead Vita to overtake 3DS.
