Before Destiny 2 initially launched, players had a variety of pre-order bonuses offered by different retailers. Among the bunch was a special Ghost that tracked the number of kills earned by a Guardian, known as Kill Tracker Ghost. While the item was originally locked to pre-orders or those lucky enough to receive one from an Engram, the tracker is now available to everyone.

According to Reddit user photogjs, the Kill Tracker Ghost can be purchased by anyone from Lord Shaxx for 10 Legendary shards. The only requirement is players will have to complete the game’s campaign mission Red War Base and reach level 20 to unlock the item for sale.

Bungie has likely made the pre-order bonus widely available because of the new Masterworks weapon class. In a recent blog post, the team unveiled the added weapon tier, placed above Legendary, will allow every gun to track number of kills. However, each weapon only tracks the kills done with it, making the Kill Tracker Ghost an all-encompassing option for those curious about how many enemies have died at their hands.

It’s interesting to see Shaxx sells the device for Legendary shards, too, as the use of the consumable was previously low. In the same blog, the developer shared Legendary shards will begin popping up as currency options in more vendors, so expect Shaxx to have many more deals for the low cost of shards. If you feel like spending real money, Bungie and Activision recently announced a real-life Ghost that works with Amazon’s Alexa device that comes packed with over 1,000 custom commands.

After reaching level 20 and buying the unique Ghost, players should consider purchasing the DLC pass for Curse of Osiris, as it will unlock a new set of missions on Mercury, as well as Vex-themed gear for players. On top of that, Guardians can now reach level 25 and max their Power levels to 335 with mods.

Destiny 2 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
