A Game of Thrones Console and PC RPG in the Works

THE BUZZ: Cyanide has announced it is working on a console and PC RPG adaption of A Game of Thrones, based on the HBO series (rather than the original books).

The studio recently released the RTS game A Game of Thrones: Genesis. The story will pick up during the first season of the HBO television series and telld the story of two new characters. The developers will be using actors from the show as voice talent in the game. A Knights of the Old Republic battle system was hinted at with a moral choice system also being implemented.

EGM’s TAKE: A Game of Thrones meets Dragon Age, you can’t get too much better than that. There will be a lot riding on this game however, with fan expectation at an all time high. Let’s just hope the devs don’t completely ignore the nuances of the books. There’s a lot of quality material there to mine.
