THE BUZZ: You hear talk thrown around all of the time—this game sold great, while nobody bought that game. As well, we all know that the Wii has been a powerhouse of a system, pushing an amazing number of units in its still short lifespan. But how have sales actually been for the Wii’s library?

Nintendo Power recently compiled a list of all of the Wii games that have sold over a million copies in the United States. Here’s that list, in order of units sold (in millions):

  1. Wii Play – 13.04
  2. Mario Kart Wii – 10.64
  3. Super Mario Bros. Wii – 8.36
  4. Wii Fit w/ Balance Board – 8.15
  5. Wii Sports Resort – 6.05
  6. Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board – 5.35
  7. Super Smash Bros.: Brawl – 5.28
  8. Just Dance 2 – 5.09
  9. Super Mario Galaxy – 4.38
  10. Link’s Crossbow Training – 3.47
  11. Mario Party 8 – 3.47
  12. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess – 2.82
