Nintendo Switch

A triple-A game may soon be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch.

Virtuos, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection and Batman: Return to Arkham, is apparently in the middle of porting a big game onto Nintendo’s newest console.

As was spotted by YouTube user Doctre81, a LinkedIn profile for Virtuous employee Xiaoyu Zhang reveals the full details of the project.

The entry straight-up says that Virtuos is currently working on “porting a AAA title to Nintendo Switch,” and adds that this involves “re-implement[ing] the renderer with Nintendo’s native graphics API” and “graphics resource management and threading.”

What the entry doesn’t reveal, however, is which game Virtuos is working on. There are a lot of contenders, including the NBA 2K series—and we know for a fact that NBA 2K18 is headed to the Switch. However, it could also be one of Virtuos’ other titles, perhaps from the studio’s Batman lineup.

Be sure to check back for any further information as it emerges.
