THE BUZZ: Late last week, we brought you word that BioWare planned to send a few copies of Mass Effect 3 up into space. Here’s a video of the first launch from San Francisco.
EGM’s TAKE: Okay, so it’s a silly PR stunt—but hey, it’s also kind of cool! Sending a copy of the game up into space (specifically, the upper atmosphere), and then having it come back down where somebody can find it and enjoy it. Of course, last I heard, the copy that came down was still stuck up in a tree at its landing site—a tree that no doubt still has people surrounding it as they try to figure out how to get the precious, precious early copy of Mass Effect 3 down!
