THE BUZZ: From October 10th until October 17th, Steam is having a big sale on titles all across THQ’s catalog of releases.

Right off the bat, every game on Steam from THQ’s catalog—with the exceptions of Saints Row: The Third and Space Marine—are 33% off.

Beyond that, there are two bigger offers going on. The first will be daily deals, with today’s offer being Metro 2033 going down in price by 75% to a cool $5. Then there’s the THQ Hits Collection, which gets you the following 15 games for $49.99: Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Darksiders, Homefront, Metro 2033, MX vs ATV Reflex, Red Faction Guerrilla, Red Faction: Armageddon, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Saints Row 2, Titan Quest, Titan Quest – Immortal Throne, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Chaos Rising.

EGM’s TAKE: This is one of the great parts of Steam—the constant and crazy sales and deals. It almost makes me wish I was more of a PC gamer. Well, except for that part about how good Steam is at making people going broke from taking advantage of too many said deals.
