While this week brought sad news with the departure of Darksiders II creative director Joe Madureira, there’s also good news as well–fans of the game will soon be getting more content to enjoy.
On October 30th, Darksiders II players on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC will be able to pick up Darksiders II: Abyssal Forge. The Abyssal Forge is “a living machine designed to harness the unfocussed dark power of the Abyss and create the most powerful legendary weapons.” Built by Mad Smith, both it and its creator were locked away in the Shadow Lands—where the Abyssal Forge set out to create an army to bring payback down upon all who shunned it.
According to the official Darksiders website, Abyssal Forge will let players explore that swamp-like world of the Shadow Lands, which provides two new dungeons, new enemies, new secrets, and “unique legendary loot” to find.
Darksiders II: Abyssal Forge will cost $9.99 on PS3 and PC, and 800 MS Points on Xbox 360.
