Ace Attorney 5 to Feature Voice Acting

Capcom has revealed that the recently announced Ace Attorney 5 will feature voice acting for the first time in the series.
In an interview with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream the publisher revealed that upgrades have been made for the series’ first outing on 3DS. Capcom said that it understood that removing the game’s much loved sound effects is an unpopular decision, but due to the 3DS’ surround sound support it made the original sound effects difficult to tune, therefore the decision was made to switch to using voice actors.
A second reason offered for the change was that the development team wanted to work anime cutscenes into the game and voice acting fitted well with this. In Ace Attorney 5 Phoenix Wright makes his triumphant return to the bench alongside new partner Kokone Kizuki.
