Ace Combat

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that offers a look at the aircraft customization options available to players.

The trailer opens with a player upgrading their aircraft with a 8AGM air-to-ground missile launcher to help complete a mission, before moving on to unveil the Aircraft Tree. This is sort of like a skill tree that will allow players to spend MRP on new planes, weapons, parts, and more.

Each plane in the game has three weapons to choose from and a multitude of customization options, including skins, emblems, engine, software, cooling system, and many, many more.

Earlier this month, Bandai Namco unveiled a Collector’s Edition of the game for Europe. The Collector’s Edition includes an exclusive die-cast metal figurine of the Arsenal Bird Fighter plane, an A4 art book titled Aces at War: A History 2019, an Ace Combat metal pin, two embroidered patches of the Erusea and Usea crests, and the game’s season pass.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown launches January 18th, 2019 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release scheduled for February 1st, 2019.
