Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown that focuses on the game’s VR mode.
As you can see in the trailer below, the VR mode gets players closer to the action than ever before, and also looks particularly vomit-inducing.
“PlayStation VR support will allow you to actually climb inside the cockpit with a series of exclusive features that create a new level of death-defying immersion,” the game’s description adds.
This upcoming entry places players in the Penitentiary Unit, a new military force formed entirely of criminals who have been tasked with defending the skies against a terrifying threat. In terms of features, players can look forward to a new graphics engine, an arsenal of super weapons, formidable enemies, a campaign mode written by Sunao Katabuchi, and online multiplayer battles.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown launches January 18th, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release to follow on February 1st, 2019.
