Another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is coming the second half of 2013, publisher Activision announced.
“We’re thrilled to debut this new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game for our younger Turtles fans,” said Nickelodeon’s senior vice president of entertainment products Sherice Torres in the press release. “Jam-packed with all the ninjas, nunchucks and non-stop action Turtles fans crave, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to delight fans around the globe when it launches in time for the holidays.”
Like Activision’s previously announced TMNT game for XBLA, PSN, and Steam, Out of the Shadows, the new game is inspired by and set within the new CG TMNT on Nickelodeon. Like Out of the Shadows, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will feature four-player co-op. Unlike Out of the Shadows, said co-op will be local (whereas the downloadable title features 2-player local, 4-player online co-op).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles launches on Xbox 360, Wii, and 3DS October 22 in North America.
