Activision Announces Wii Version Of Modern Warfare 3 Coming This Year

Activision has today confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 will be making an appearance on the Nintendo Wii.

Eric Hirshberg made the announcement today during an investors call saying that the team didn’t want to make any Call of Duty fans feel abandoned.

The major question is whether Activision will choose to support the Wii version of the game. Black Ops was released last year on Nintendo’s console and didn’t see much in the way of post launch support whereas the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions got numerous map packs, and Modern Warfare 2 didn’t even see a release.

So will you be picking up the Wii version of Modern Warfare 3 or sticking to the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC version?
