Activision – Call Of Duty: Elite Will Be Fixed By December 1
Posted on November 21, 2011 AT 07:50am
THE BUZZ: Activision has revealed that it hopes to have Call of Duty: Elite fixed and running perfectly by December 1.
“It was our fault that the service wasn’t up and running the day [fans] put in their token or the day they bought it,” said Daniel Suarez, VP of Production at Activision. ”They kind of have to bear with us while we bring this all back up, but for us it’s literally ‘Give us those couple weeks, we’re giving those to you for free and come December 1 the goal is that we’ll have everything up and running.’” As an apology all founder members will get an extra 30 days added to their subscription.
EGM’s TAKE: The team is working hard to fix its mistakes and is offering a membership as an apology to paying customers, so they’ve done all they can to cover their bases. At least so far.
