Call of Duty

THE BUZZ: On this, the release day for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick made a shocking statement today about the future of the Call of Duty franchise.

That statement? That come next year, a new Call of Duty title will be released.

EGM’s TAKE: Okay, I lied—when I said “shocking” just now, I meant “by far the least-shocking statement to be made about video games this year.” Every year since 2005, there’s been a Call of Duty game released every year, and next year will be no exception. So, we all knew it was coming—but now it’s officially official.

What do you think the next Call of Duty game will be? What would you like to see personally? Let us know in the comments below!
