Activision Confirms New Call of Duty Game for 2012

THE BUZZ: On this, the release day for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick made a shocking statement today about the future of the Call of Duty franchise.
That statement? That come next year, a new Call of Duty title will be released.
EGM’s TAKE: Okay, I lied—when I said “shocking” just now, I meant “by far the least-shocking statement to be made about video games this year.” Every year since 2005, there’s been a Call of Duty game released every year, and next year will be no exception. So, we all knew it was coming—but now it’s officially official.
