Activision Releases First Black Ops 2 Zombie Artwork – Bring Your Shotgun

Activision has released the first piece of artwork for Black Ops 2′s zombie mode, after confirming its existence yesterday.

“Zombies are coming…… Where’s your shotgun?” reads a post on the game’s official Facebook Page. The artwork itself sadly gives nothing away, just a lone female figure standing in front of a giant II. It does however tell us that at least one of the characters will be female. We’re also guessing that you will need a lot more than just a shotgun if you’re going to survive this mode. A gun that shoots rays perhaps?

According to Treyarch there will be new zombie modes added to the game, on top of the usual Horde-like mode, and the game’s improved engine now allows for double the number of undead. There was more than enough before, so heaven only knows how we’re meant to survive even more of them. The team behind zombies has been given a lot more freedom this time out, which isn’t surprising seeing as it’s by far the most popular game mode. But what will they do with all that freedom?
