Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

THE BUZZ: If you’re a Premium member of Call of Duty: Elite, then good news—Activision has published a release calendar to give you an idea of what you’ll be getting for Modern Warfare 3 through September.

EGM’s TAKE: Call of Duty: Elite is of course the huge new social networking/stat-tracking service for the Call of Duty series. While parts of the service are offered for free, fans of the franchise can also subscribe to Premium memberships, which include free downloads of a wide variety of content for Modern Warfare 3.

So what exactly will you Premium members be getting? To give you a hint, Activision has published a content calendar—while it doesn’t say exactly what will be coming, it gives us clues as to the types of content.

Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to:

January: Two maps—Libertion and Piazza (these are the only two pieces fully revealed so far)
February: One map
March: One map, two missions
April: Two maps
May: One map, one mission
June: One map, one mission, one mode
July: Two maps
August: One map, one mission, one mode
September: One mp, one mission

Obviously, it’s hard to fully judge the extent of this content until we know exactly what everything is—that said, what do you think of the overall idea of the amount of content you’ll be getting? That’s 12 maps, six missions, and two new modes.

Is that a good selection of DLC for the cost of Call of Duty: Elite?
