Actor Todd Stashwick, believed to be portraying the villain in Uncharted 4 (it was all but confirmed), is no longer involved with the project, he confirmed to IGN.

“They chose to recast my role,” Stashwick told IGN.

Stashwick joins a series of departures, firings, and the like at Naughty Dog this year, starting with Amy Hennig leaving the company to join EA Visceral as creative director on their yet-announced Star Wars game, followed by game director Justin Richmond’s jump from Naughty Dog to League of Legends developer Riot Games, and today’s news about The Last of Us lead artist Nate Wells quitting the company to work at Giant Sparrow, makers of The Unfinished Swan.

Just last week (exactly one week ago, in fact), Hennig revealed that Stashwick would be serving as co-writer with her on the Visceral Star Wars game.
