Additional Character Classes Coming to Borderlands 2

President of Gearbox Software Randy Pitchford has confirmed that extra character classes will be coming to Borderlands 2 in the future.
Pitchford took to Twitter to answer several questions from Borderlands 2 fans, when asked by one if there were any plans for future character classes he replied, “Yes, we’re working on it.” This is a very definitive answer, considering that in the past the developer stated that it would only consider more classes if the Mechromancer DLC was well received. Obviously it was based on this reply.
