Social media tools like Twitter and Tumblr make getting in touch with people more simple than it’s ever been. So, when Adventure Time‘s creator says he’s devoting his free time to interviewing video game industry folks, the plot thickens.

Actually, Pendleton Ward is probably someone that gaming industry vets will easily talk to, when you think about it.

He’s a famous animator (people will be less likely to ignore him), not a member of the gaming press, and only wants to interview people that the public (and his friends) put him in touch with.

Right now, Ward is ambitiously  tracking down Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, for his first interview. Nothing’s instant, of course, so he’s entertaining us with adorable .GIF animations in the meantime.
