Adventure Time Creator Providing Voice Work for Unknown Role in Broken Age

Posted on November 4, 2013 AT 11:10am

Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward will be lending his pipes to Tim Schafer and Double Fine on some voice work for their upcoming adventure game, Broken Age.

Kickstarter backers can get a tease of Ward’s Broken Age appearance on the game’s forums, where a short clip from the making-of documentary was posted.

Ward provides the voice for Lumpy Space Princess and Shelby in Adventure Time, and the computer in his web series Bravest Warriors. His exact role in Broken Age has yet to be revealed.

The first part of Double Fine’s Broken Age will launch through Steam Early Access in January 2014. The second half is expected to release later in the year.

The next game based on Pendleton Ward’s Adventure Time—Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!—launches on Windows PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS November 12 in North America, November 15 in Europe.
