Sega has released a new gameplay trailer for The Creative Assembly’s upcoming survival horror title Alien: Isolation that is rather appropriately titled survive.
The trailer shows Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen, running through dark corridors, waving the trusty scanner around, and even wielding a flamethrower. All before coming face to face with the single Xenomorph that is set to stalk you for the duration of the game.
“As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien,” Sega explains. “Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”
Alien: Isolation is set to launch October 7 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
