Alien: Isolation will launch for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 7, developer Creative Assembly has announced.

The announcement was mad over the weekend during the Alien Isolation panel at EGX Rezzed 2014. ”We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation,” Creative Assembly’s Alistair Hope said.

“The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”

Isolation is a sci-fi horror title starring Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda. While onboard the remote station Sevastopol she encounters a lone xenomorph, and the fight for survival begins. According to the developer, players will mainly be facing off against ordinary soldiers in combat, with the lone alien acting as the monster in the shadows.
