CI Games serves up all the space marine heroics and alien shootin’ set to metal you can handle in the launch trailer for Alien Rage.

According to developer and publisher City Interactive, Alien Rage is a “truly intense old-school styled shooter game” that features 14 levels, apparently large bosses, and 10 weapons each with two firing modes. Players can also expect “awesome physics, destructible environments,” and a level of generic gameplay that can only be found in a game with so many adjectives needlessly appended to its description.

Formerly known as Alien Fear (and undoubtedly soon to be known as Alien Depression), Alien Rage was first announced in 2012. The rebranding was revealed earlier this year, in May, courtesy of the title’s first official teaser trailer.

The “old school” shooter revolves around a conflict between two factions laying game to the resources found on an asteroid, where the game is set.

Alien Rage launches on Steam, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network tomorrow, priced at $20. Pre-orders are available on Steam for the next twenty-two hours that knock an additional 20 percent off the price, bringing it down to $15.99.
