THE BUZZ: Sega’s Aliens: Colonial Marines has suffered a delay.

The title has slipped from a Spring 2012 release window to Fall 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC according to game’s official website.

EGM’s TAKE: No details have been given for the delay so far, however it doesn’t come as a surprise given the game’s already lengthy development time, and a few more months won’t hurt if it means a better game. Earlier this month the first image of the game’s Collector’s Edition appeared online, which caused many to believe that the game was close to release, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

The game has many here at EGM giddy with excitement, so there are going to be some sad faces today.
