THE BUZZ: Sony has confirmed that all PlayStation Vita games will launch simultaneously at both retail outlets and digitally via the PlayStation Network.

Sony’s Chris Norden revealed that this was so, “you can just leave everything on the Vita – it’s a completely-self contained device.” “PSN is supported from day one, right out of the box at launch,” he added.

EGM’s TAKE: With digital games costing less than their retail counter-parts on Vita maybe the idea will work, however the download cap for the 3G version could put a lot of people off digital downloads.

Will you be taking advantage of digital downloads instead of retail? Leave your thoughts below.
