Alice creator American McGee recently posted to Facebook to gauge interest in a third installment of the series.
In his Facebook post, McGee asks fans if they would play Alice 3 if he could obtain the rights from publisher Electronic Arts, and ifs o, whether fans would help fund the project through Kickstarter.
According to his post, McGee intends to use clear fan demand as leverage when meeting with EA later this month at GDC.
McGee recently had luck with crowd-funding a game through Kickstarter with his browser-based action-RPG Akaneiro: Demon Hunters.
