Update: Fans looking forward to playing the Amnesia Collection on Xbox One this week are going to be disappointed, as Microsoft has removed the August 31st release date from its original post, noting that it will have “more news to share soon.”
Publisher Frictional Games added on Twitter that the collection is indeed coming to Xbox One, but it won’t be this week.
The rumours are true and Amnesia: Collection is coming to Xbox One… but not quite yet. Tune in for more news on the 7th of September – we might have a special treat for you. 🥀 pic.twitter.com/FWm5DRXIHj

The collection was released on PlayStation 4 in 2016 and includes Amnesia: The Dark Descent, its expansion Amnesia: Justine, and the sequel Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs.
Amnesia: The Dark Decent was released in 2010 and puts players in the shoes of Daniel who wakes up in a desolate castle, barely able to remember anything about his past. While the sequel was released in 2013 and follows the story of a wealthy industrialist called Oswald Mandus who wakes into a nightmare about a dark and hellish engine.
Amnesia Collection was priced at $29.99 when it released on PlayStation 4, so expect a similar price on Xbox One.
