Analyst – GTA V Could Sell 25 Million

THE BUZZ: Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia believes that Grand Theft Auto V could ship more than 25 million copies, putting it on par with Call of Duty: Black Ops and 3 million ahead of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Also after the announcement Take-Two saw a jump in their share prices, with Bhatia saying that this could go even higher if the trailer delivers next week: ”Still, if Rockstar announces the official release date for the title, in conjunction with the release of the trailer, we think it will be positive for the shares.”

EGM’s TAKE: Grand Theft Auto games are always massive, a sales and media frenzy surrounds every launch day and based on the reception from just an announcement you can expect big things from the newest entry.
