Analysts – GTA V Coming Summer 2012

THE BUZZ: According to a number of industry analysts, Grand Theft Auto V could release as early as next summer, before E3 2012, in order, ”to steal everyone’s attention.”

“We believe Rockstar Games is modelling a four to six month marketing window for their upcoming GTA V release, suggesting a summer ’12 launch period,” said Mike Hickey of National Alliance Capital Markets, and Wedbush Securities’ Michael Pachter predicted: ”Would guess it does pretty well when it launches in June. They want to steal everyone’s attention, and will do so with a launch in front of E3.”

EGM’s TAKE: All we’ve seen of GTA V is one little trailer and now the world has gone GTA crazy. Rockstar must be very happy right about now.
