Analysts Predict Call of Duty: Elite Pricing And Subsciption Numbers

With Call of Duty: Elite only having just been announced the analysts are already all over it with predictions for both subscription numbers and potential pricing structures hitting the net.
EEDAR’s Jesse Divnich told IndustryGamers that he believes a Call of Duty: Elite subscription “will range in the $4.99 area [about 3]” and that it could penetrate up to 20% of Modern Warfare 3 purchasers, this “likely translates into about two to four million subscribers after 12
months and likely 1.5 million subscribers by the end of 2011″.
Also good old Michael Pachter has come out and said that the annual subscription price could be between $50 and $60 (30-37).
He also told Gamasutra, “I think Activision hopes to get up to one million subscribers this
year. From there, they hope to get it up to three million next year,
then up to five million. Over time, they’d like to migrate everyone over
to it.”
Call of Duty: Elite will launch this November alongside Modern Warfare 3 and a beta is due to run this summer.
