Anarchy Reigns

With the recent shake-ups going on at Sega, some wondered if Platinum Games’ new multiplayer action combat title Anarchy Reigns would end up a casualty. Well, it seems that there’s good and bad news on that front.

The good news? Anarchy Reigns is still coming to North America and Europe—a release that was put into question after the latest of multiple reschedulings of the game now had it listed as “To Be Determined”. The bad news? According to multiple tweets this afternoon from the official Sega Twitter account, that launch is going to be coming later than expected:

“The release of Anarchy Reigns has been re-evaluated. We now expect to launch in Europe and America in Q1 of 2013.”

So—glad to see it still coming over, sad to see that it’s going to take so long to so do. Not to mention, of course, that it could have come out now, when there aren’t a lot of games being released, versus being pushed back to Q1 2013, where there is a flood of games being released for it to get lost in.
