THE BUZZ: Soon, Rovio Mobile will be taking Angry Birds where it has never gone before—space.

EGM’s TAKE: I feel the need to make a “Pigs in Space” joke here, but then I’m depressed by the fact that at least half of you probably wouldn’t get it.

That aside, Rovio has unveiled the next chapter of their unbelievably popular video game series pitting pissed-off birds against nefarious swine: Angry Birds Space. For now, we’ve got nothing more than a teaser and a release date—March 22nd—but there’s at least a few ideas that instantly come to mind. Possibly a wide variety of gravity modifiers due to different gravitational pulls in space? That could certainly have a major effect on gameplay, and mix things up in a new way.
