Angry Birds Space – Announcement Trailer and Details

THE BUZZ: Rovio has officially announced Angry Birds Space, with a gameplay trailer, details and a release date.

The newest title will take the birds and pigs to outer space where floating rocks and planets will feature changing gravity fields, adding a new dimension to play.

Angry Birds Space will launch with 60 levels and more will be made available via free updates and in-app purchases.

The game is set to launch March 22 for iOS, Android and PC.

EGM’s TAKE: How do you improve on the worlds most loved app? Simple, you take the whole thing and put it in space. The new gravity fields completely change the game and will even cause Angry Birds veterans to relearn what they once knew. But this is what was needed, Rovio had to shake up the formula to prevent it going stale. We’re looking forward to flinging some birds around in space later this month.
